Cheyne Community Outreach Team

As the body of Christ in the world, we are committed to helping those in need. We believe poverty demands a response and we express God’s message of love, mercy and hope by addressing basic human needs (food, clothing and shelter) in ways that respect the dignity and worth of every person.

From international disaster relief to immediate needs in our local community, our Community Outreach team works diligently on many projects throughout the year which provide opportunities to be the physical hands and feet of Jesus.

Stoney Creek Moms Connect

Calling all moms we host special events for moms in our community. In the past we have run events such as kindermusic with the Hamilton School of music! Stay tuned for our next event!

Men's Street Ministry

Cheyne has been partnered with MSM for 7  in an effort to meet the needs of our most vulnerable unhoused neighbours. A team from Cheyne provides serving support alternating Mondays through physical serving on the street and behind the scenes making sandwiches.

Always looking for new team members! If your interested please reach out to Kristy Hamilton 289-921-7277 or kristy_cameron@hotmail.com

Benevolent Fund

Offerings above and beyond your regular tithe help support the immediate physical needs of congregation members and those closely connected with access to food, clothing, shelter, non-funded medical needs, employment start up support and much more. If you see a "blue" envelope at designated times throughout the year in the pew prayerfully consider a financial blessing.

Mental Health

Cheyne church is striving to be a beacon of hope  and reduce the stigma of mental health supports within the church through equipping our leadership and members with education, resources and a safe place to share mental health struggles. Cheyne has partnered with Agora Network Ministries and Grimsby Life Centre in an effort to refer those in need and obtain expertise and education.
